Welcome to the Brighthelm Centre
We are a busy Community Centre located right in the heart of Brighton, just minutes from the train station and seafront. Established in 1987, we now have a Pre-School, community garden, cafe and chapel on site, and boast a wide range of meeting and performance rooms that we hire out for classes, conferences, weddings, festivals and more. Our core values are community and sustainability, and we aim to support these in everything we do – from offering locally sourced food in our cafe, to offering subsidized childcare places in our Pre-School.
Brighthelm is looking for a new trustee with a particular interest in environmental issues. The ideal candidate will be interested in sustainability and the environmental movement but also willing to be an active trustee at Brighthelm.
