The cafe is a popular space for all generations and offers hearty food which is sustainable and affordable. The chef’s specials are advertised on the daily board alongside other favourites, such as fish and chips, Welsh rarebit, baked potatoes and a delicious all day breakfast. A jacket potato and salad with a choice of fillings is available as a gluten free option.We think this is the best place in Brighton for old fashioned pies, quiches and delicious puddings.
The cafe has an unhurried pace with an open feel that can be especially welcome on crowded days in the North Laine! The snacks and daily lunches are all home made and excellent value and have the highest 5 Stars in the Scores on the Doors scheme.
