20OctoberPeople are Messy (Brighton Science Festival)
People are Messy, by Judith Johnson, is a powerful film from Theatre of Debate. People are Messy tells the story of two very different boys with a rare disease - aplastic anaemia. Their consultant seeks funding for his research into this condition, but must first demonstrate the involvement of the public with the help of long-term patient Vik and newly diagnosed Jake.
Following the screening, there will be a discussion on why it is important for people to be involved in health research.
Tickets are free but limited. Please visit Eventbrite http://bit.ly/NIHRPRMto register for your free place.
