Brighthelm is predominately used for venue hire. We have a fantastic auditorium which seats 250 people, as well as a range of mid size and smaller rooms for hire by the hour.
We serve a wide range of charities, corporate companies, public health and local authority groups.
Our venue hire is our ’bread and butter’, we offer a professional service with experienced staff.
We offer tea and coffee as well as full catering for your event.

We are focussed on the topic of sustainability and seek to be a centre that stimulates discussion and action around our environmental impact. We work with our tenants and volunteers to hold events such as clothes swaps, environmental hustings and eco fairs to try and keep eco issues at the forefront. We act as a case study venue for the University of Brighton, students conduct access audits of our centre and present their findings. We also consider our faith based work to be integral to environmental issues, our Rev Alex leads many talks, sermons and prayer events focussing on faith in a changing climate.
